Palm Beach County Releases Youth Master Plan

An alliance of Palm Beach County community leaders recently released the Palm Beach County Youth Master Plan, a blueprint for setting priorities and taking action to improve the lives of children and youth in the county.  The plan identifies key data and work streams that helped guide the planning process, such as community conversations, a youth survey and an analysis of youth-serving programs currently available. The plan then shares key outcomes, action areas and recommended next steps and initial priorities for the work.

The alliance, Birth to 22: United for Brighter Futures, has been working with the many coalitions, networks and youth-serving organizations that serve and support youth in the county. The group has also connected with families, community members and local youth to develop the plan’s priorities, and is committed to continuing that engagement. The Forum supported the Palm Beach County Youth Master Plan with technical assistance, neutral facilitation, coaching, data tools and other supports.
