Partner Engagement in The America's Promise Alliance Grad Nation Action Forum
The America's Promise Alliance is hosting the Grad Nation Action Forum September 16 - 18, 2009 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. The Alliance is bringing together teams of leaders from the 12 Featured Communities - seven of which overlap with the priority cities of the partnership -for workshops and trainings supporting their work to improve graduation rates in their communities. The Ready by 21 Partnership sent an invitation to the attendees from Louisville and Nashville to meet with Partners in conjunction with the planned activities of the Action Forum. To date, the team from Louisville has responded that they would like to take advantage of the invitation for Friday afternoon, September 18 (more details will be sent separately). Special thanks to America's Promise Alliance for making conference rooms available to the Partnership for these targeted meetings. (For more information about the Grad Nation Action Forum, contact Caroline Brachman at carolineb@americaspromise.org.
