Ready by 21 Webinar- Defining Readiness- June 29, 4:00-5:00 pm EDT

This webinar will provide a basic overview of definitions of readiness, research on the number and percentages of youth who are 'ready', connections between individual indicators and overall readiness, and research on the types of supports youth need in order to be ready. This session will deliver three core messages of Ready by 21- that problem free is not fully prepared; fully prepared is not fully engaged; and academic competence, while critical is not enough. This session will end with a challenge to leaders to examine and insulate their education pipeline.
