On August 25, Karen Pittman will be a featured panelist at a summit hosted by Gallup, a Ready by 21 National Partner, and Phi Delta Kappa International, the world’s premier professional association for educators. "School of Thought: Data-Driven Insights to Inform Education Policy" will share new research and insights on the current state of American education. This event will present findings from Phi Delta Kappa's annual education survey, which measures public attitudes and opinions about America's public schools, and the Gallup Student Poll, a joint initiative with America's Promise Alliance and the American Association of School Administrators to measure the hope, engagement and well-being of students in grades 5-12.

Gallup encourages policy makers, business leaders, educators, nonprofit and community-based organizations, and anyone seeking to develop informed strategies to ensure that the country's youth are ready for college, work, and life in the 21st century to attend this free event.
