Special Projects Manager
For well over a decade, Amy Gyau-Moyer has been actively involved in advocating for vulnerable populations in the human, social services and public health arenas. Amy’s more recent positions include: Director of Programs at the Health Council of Southeast Florida and Community Planning and Partnerships Officer at the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County where the mission of helping Palm Beach County’s children grow up healthy, safe and strong became her passion.
Amy’s volunteer activities include donating her time to the Red Cross as a Community Emergency Disaster Preparedness Teacher, being a mentor for young teen girls through Women of Tomorrow, and doing special activities with children who have debilitating illnesses at Quantum House. Amy holds a bachelors in Healthcare Administration from Washington Adventist University. She also obtained her Master of Management degree with a concentration in Public Relations as well as an MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
Amy currently lends her talents to the Forum as the Special Projects Manager and she strives every day to achieve the dream of strengthening state and local partnerships that focus on young people, expanding and improving learning opportunities for all youth and ultimately helping to align and advance policies and resources to make them more effective.
