The David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality, a joint venture of the Forum for Youth Investment and High/Scope Educational Research Foundation, is now accepting registrations for its Youth Worker Methods Training of Trainers (TOT) program.

The Methods TOT is an intensive online and residential experience that builds participants' training skills and prepares them to introduce leading-edge youth work methods into their professional networks. The program begins with 4 weeks of online coursework comparable to a college-level course. Participants should expect to spend 3-4 hours per week considering youth work and adult learning concepts and completing assignments. Participants then attend a 3-day residential workshop. The TOT culminates with a week of online collaboration.

• Kickoff Webinar/Conference Call:
  Friday October 3, 2008
• Residential Training Component:
  Monday October 27th, 2008 - Thursday October 30th, 2008 (Clinton, MI)
• Online Training Component (Wrap-Up):
  Monday November 3, 2008 - Monday November 10, 2008

Tuition: $1280/person, including room and board for the residential component. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
