Congressional Briefing (Collective Impact for Children and Youth Policy Summit)

States and cities across the country are finding innovative ways to address the needs of their most vulnerable children. And they are moving the needle by using data, evidence, and collaboration to get concrete results.

More efforts like these are needed. But too often, federal policy gets in the way. What can Congress and the Administration do to support these efforts to improve outcomes for children and youth? Do we need more resources, or can existing funds be repurposed and made more flexible?

Results for America and the Forum for Youth Investment invite you to a Capitol Hill briefing to help answer these questions. The briefing will provide an overview of state and local collective impact efforts for children. And we will discuss how federal policies—like Performance Partnership Pilots, Promise Zones, and other place-based initiatives—can support and encourage these efforts.
