Alex promotes evidence-based policymaking by publishing research reports and other documents as well as convening federal policymakers and advocates to discuss best practices and common challenges. He also provides research and policy supports to the organization in areas such as youth development, policy alignment, and e-advocacy. He graduated from American University’s Master of Public Policy program and has bachelor degrees in International Affairs and Psychology from the University of Georgia. He has previously interned with the Center for American Progress, the White House Domestic Policy Council, the Migration Policy Institute, the National Governors Association, and the Legal Services Corporation.
