Ashley is a writer, editor, and all around storyteller who is passionate about youth empowerment, women’s rights, and social justice. As the Content Engagement Specialist at SparkAction, she provides content strategy and support for SparkAction.org, LeaderStories.org, and the Reconnecting Youth Campaign. Ashley has worked in communications for several organizations including Human Rights Watch, the International Rescue Committee, Concern Worldwide, World Vision, the Council on Foreign Relations, and PBS. She’s experienced in writing, researching, project planning, video editing, proofreading, web development, and social media management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The New School for Social Research.
