Debbie Greiff, Principal of Debbie Greiff Consulting (DGC), specializes in advising state, county and local government leaders and departments, nonprofit/philanthropic, and private sector organizations, and cross-cutting strategic initiative collaboratives to build their capacity for catalyzing change, learning, and getting results. DGC’s work focuses on multidisciplinary, cross-sector system change efforts structurally linking housing and community development, economic mobility/workforce development, education, and health and human services health and human services systems.

In addition to content expertise in these areas, Debbie has extensive experience in integrated strategy, measurement and implementation planning for cross-cutting systems change efforts; program design and analysis; strategic facilitation; collaborative learning and knowledge management efforts; and, technical assistance, capacity- and field-building efforts.

Debbie has provided leadership and strategic direction for the launch of significant multi-sector national systems change efforts, including developing innovative college completion approaches to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty.

In addition to consulting, she draws on her experience as Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Management for the Postsecondary Success strategy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Debbie also served as Executive Director of a multi-county nonprofit that created a nationally recognized model supportive housing program, and worked for six years in graphic design, marketing, and communications.  She holds a B.A. in politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
