Edith Hawkins

Edith Hawkins is Executive Vice President for Cross-Systems Consulting. Edith brings over 20 years of experience working with programs and across sectors to improve the educational and social outcomes for children, youth and adults. She recently served as Chief Program Officer of the Campagna Center, where she was responsible for leading a team of program directors to develop and implement programs across 55 sites in the City of Alexandria, in partnership with Alexandria City Public Schools; Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities and other nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining The Campagna Center, Ms. Hawkins held positions at ICF International, The McKenzie Group, Inc., National Alliance of Business, and the Government Accounting Office, all of which had similar missions to promote and sustain the delivery of high-quality educational and community-based initiatives. As a Senior Manager at ICF International, she was responsible for managing a portfolio of evaluation and technical assistance projects for district, state and federal clients such as the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement, the Smithsonian Institution, the Maryland State Department of Education, Chicago Public Schools and New York City Public Schools.

Throughout her career, Edith has contributed to creating and implementing strategic plans, and developing performance measures to track progress; building organizational capacity to serve clients through effective staff management, development and mentoring; and establishing strategic partnerships to help organizations leverage resources and maximize their impact within the communities they serve.

Edith earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and completed her Master’s degree in Public Policy at Duke University.
