The Policy & Advocacy Associate will be the primary point person on the Forum’s advocacy campaigns designed to advance our policy goals. Such goals currently include increasing funding and improving policies for: interagency alignment/collective impact/place-based initiatives; disconnected youth/opportunity youth; afterschool programs, social & emotional learning/youth development outcomes such as character; and evidence-based policymaking.
The State & Local Policy Associate will participate in the full range of projects within the Forum's state and local policy work. This includes the development of new local child and youth policy and funding projects as well as maintenance of existing state efforts. The portfolio consists of research and writing, administrative tasks, as well as supporting the delivery of technical assistance to policy leaders.
The Communications Specialist has responsibility for producing and carrying out strategies to promote the Forum’s work and its products and services. This includes the design, production, writing and dissemination of print and electronic communications.
