Forum Flash: December 29, 2008

As the year comes to a end, several projects at the Forum are reaching major milestones. The Ready by 21 Quality Counts sites celebrated the end of the first year and planned ahead to the second and final year of the initiative. The Ready by 21 planning and capacity building process with the Ready by 21 National partners is reaching it's own milestones to ensure Ready by 21 makes the most effective impact. The Forum's website has also gotten an update in time for the new year that should make resources much easier to find and be more user-friendly.

"Increasing matriculation rates will require a lot more than better financing schemes. It will require a significant expansion in the support base for youth and young adults."
