Madison Quijano is a passionate youth advocate working to achieve the Forum’s mission as the Director of Juvenile Justice for Cross-Systems Consulting. She has a background in the study and design of best practices for engaging vulnerable youth and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, and risk of criminal involvement.
Before joining the Forum, Madison most recently served as Interim Director of Research and Evaluation and as an Analyst at the DC Department for Youth and Rehabilitation Services. She also worked as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy. Throughout her career, Madison has served as a project manager, program evaluator, and researcher for national organizations, including the Children’s Defense Fund, and community-based organizations, such as the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project.
Madison holds a BA and an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Public Administration from George Washington University. Madison was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now resides in Washington, DC.
