Meredith Hills is a passionate policy advocate serving as the Forum’s Senior Manager, Federal Policy and Advocacy, where she leads the Reconnecting Youth Campaign and the Opportunity Youth Congressional Liaison Program, while partnering with the Forum’s state policy team to advance readiness through policy.

Before joining the Forum in this role, Meredith spent more than a year as a consultant working closely with the Forum’s federal policy team. Prior to that, Meredith spent nearly four years at Jobs for the Future (JFF) in Washington, D.C., developing their Opportunity Youth (ages 16–24 not in education or the workforce) policy portfolio, working with the Executive Branch and Capitol Hill, and supporting state policy development and implementation. Earlier in her career, she built expertise in advocacy, technical assistance, and federal policy at the intersection of education and workforce development at the national state association Advance CTE and the Brookings Institution.

Meredith holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Educational Transformation, Advocacy and Policy and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. Originally from Boston, she has called Washington, D.C. home for the past decade.
