Rachel Keener is a non-profit consultant, Field Consultant for the Forum’s Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality, and leads an interdisciplinary LGBTQ+ health equity initiative in Colorado Springs, CO. She has over a decade of experience scaling resources and improvement systems to enhance the quality of Youth Development organizations, with a focus on authentic engagement from all staff, youth and key stakeholders. Most recently, she co-developed Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s LGBTQ+ inclusion strategy and data-informed planning tool. Rachel is passionate about working to create more joyful, affirming spaces for transgender and gender-expansive young people through advocacy, workshop facilitation and resource development. She lives with her partner, two cats and her dog in Colorado, where she spends her time hiking, painting and tending to her ever-increasing collection of houseplants.
