Stacy Silverman

Stacy Silverman is driven by a passion rooted in a belief that every hour counts for communities creating safe and nurturing environments for youth to become learners and leaders. Stacy has over 20 years of experience in education and youth services including therapeutic wilderness and adventure-based programming, mental health services, restorative justice programs, assessment, coaching and adult facilitation. He has extensive experience working with the K-12 student population, primarily in out-of-school time settings, and has trained thousands of youth workers and managers in the art of teaching and reaching youth through coaching, advising and training positions with Prime Time Palm Beach County, KinderCare Education, Outward Bound, and Nova Southeastern University. 

Stacy’s work with the Weikart Center began in 2003 during the YPQA validation study and continued through his training, coaching and assessment roles supporting early adoption of the quality improvement systems in OST Intermediaries and organizations across the country.  

Stacy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. In his free time, he explores the wilderness, enjoys live music events, and travels internationally in order to share food and culture with new and old friends.
