Tiffany provides research, evaluation, and technical assistance services as a Senior Research and Evaluation Specialist at the Forum’s Weikart Center. She has over a decade of experience as an applied mixed methods researcher- designing, implementing, and assessing initiatives that support youth development.
Prior to joining the Forum, Tiffany worked for several years researching and evaluating county, state, and federally funded projects focused on out-of-school time networks, youth leadership, teen pregnancy prevention, and youth in systems of care. This work informed decision-making processes for key stakeholders, including policymakers, program leaders, community organizations, families, and youth. Additionally, Tiffany has worked to engage young people in research and evaluation processes throughout her career in varying degrees from direct feedback to youth participatory action research (YPAR). She has worked as an internal evaluator for a youth-serving organization and worked early on as a youth development professional supporting the civic leadership development of adolescents.
Her research interests include out-of-school time systems, youth development professionals, youth leadership, youth civic engagement, youth participatory action research, youth involvement in the arts, Black youth identity development, and youth culture. She holds a master’s degree from Marygrove College and a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University.
