Weikart Center: Framing an Evidence-based Decision about 21st CCLC: How do we see the value?

The commentary examines how the 21st Century Community Learning Center program has changed the afterschool movement as well as how different evaluation techniques can support its overall effectiveness. The commentary suggests that quality matters and that any evaluation technique that studies program designs in the aggregate might see smaller effect sizes that fail to account for the program’s full effect.
