In November of 2019, our then forming Readiness Projects core team came together in Pittsburgh with 25 co-strategists and 75 of their colleagues, to ask the question, how can we use the increasing consensus around the science of learning and development to give teeth to the ideas of whole child, whole school, whole community, and to galvanize a broader movement to create strong ecosystems of learning and development that are truly equitable? This gathering launched many of the Readiness Projects that were completed and that are currently underway.
