The Forum for Youth Investment welcomes Ali Lauge as our inaugural Chief Growth Officer and Meredith Hills as our Senior Manager, Federal Policy. A mission-driven executive with a proven track record in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and organizational growth, Ali officially joins the Forum’s Executive Team as we work to expand our impact across the country. Her appointment reflects the Forum’s strategic commitment to diversifying revenue, deepening funder relationships, and elevating our visibility nationally.

Ali brings a strong blend of fundraising leadership, partnership development, and communications expertise. Most recently, she spent six and a half years at Generation Schools Network, most recently as Vice President of Development & Partnerships, where she built a track record of driving revenue growth and deepening relationships with funders and strategic partners.

As Chief Growth Officer, Ali will work closely with teams across the Forum to advance our fundraising, business development, communications, marketing, and partnership strategies. She will lead the Forum’s newly formed Growth Team and report directly to CEO Phil Robinson, joining the Executive Team at a pivotal moment in the Forum’s growth.

Ali’s appointment strengthens the Forum’s capacity to build lasting relationships with the funders and partners who make our work possible. She will help position the organization for long-term sustainability as we grow our reach and deepen our impact for young people nationwide.

The Forum for Youth Investment also welcomes Meredith Hills as our Senior Manager, Federal Policy. Meredith brings deep expertise in federal youth policy, joining the Forum after nearly four years at Jobs for the Future (JFF) in Washington, D.C., where she developed their Opportunity Youth (ages 16–24 not in education or the workforce) policy portfolio, working with the Executive Branch and Capitol Hill, and supporting state policy development and implementation. Earlier in her career, she built expertise in advocacy, technical assistance, and federal policy at the intersection of education and workforce development at the Brookings Institution and the national state association Advance CTE.

As Senior Manager, Federal Policy, Meredith focuses on managing the Reconnecting Youth Coalition and Opportunity Youth Congressional Liaison Program, while partnering with the Forum’s state policy team to advance readiness through policy. Meredith holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Educational Transformation, Advocacy and Policy. She lives in Washington, D.C., where she enjoys exploring the city, cheering on Boston sports teams, playing tennis, and watching reality TV.
