Technical Assistance Helping Federal Government Advance Interagency Efforts

While the Federal government doesn’t have a secretary-level policy coordinating body, it does have a strong working group of primarily career-level staff, the Interagency Working Group of Youth Programs, who produce Youth.gov. The Forum provides technical assistance to this group in partnership with the American Institutes for Research.

Advocacy

The Forum advances federal legislation that makes it easier for communities to align multiple federal funding streams in ways that lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness, including the Federal Youth Coordination Act and the Performance Partnership Pilots for Disconnected Youth (P3).
